We're here at the Finovate 2009 show. After about 3 hours of sleep, I'm as awake as I'm going to get. We're presenting at 10am but needed to be at the show for tech setup by 7am. Lovely.
 
At any rate, some really interesting companies presenting today. I'm definitely a fan of the focused niche conference. After going to a bunch of E3's and a Comdex, it's definitely nice to go to a smaller conference where you're not wading through a sea of people to find the handful that are related to your business. This is our first Finovate but we hope to be here every year, even if we're not presenting. It's just a great setup for financial start-ups. This and the LeadsCon conference are probably are two best events. Now on with the show...

Just got back from LeadsCon 2009 last night. Maybe it's the combination of too much food and drink or the fact that I'm always dehydrated in Vegas but I am wiped out. Overall though, it was a great show. Much thanks to Jay Weintraub, the founder of LeadsCon, for putting on another great show. Ike was invited to present Centrro and our latest service, KnowBeforeYouApply.com, at a spotlight session that highlighted a few companies that were doing more innovative things in the lead generation industry. We shared the stage with some great innovative companies - DiabeticConnect.com, BillShrink, Credit Karma, TrialPay, and Twilio. Below are some shots from that spotlight.

Though I always enjoy going to Vegas, it's a rough place to be. A combination of the dry air, too much drink, too much food, too little sleep can never end well. I'm glad to be back home and sleeping my own bed.

In Las Vegas for a couple of days for LeadsCon 2009 at the Mirage. We're staying at Paris. Got a couple of free rooms for the team. It's crazy to see LV so empty. Believe me, there's a reason they gave me free rooms (I'm no baller).
